Membuat Watermark dengan Brush di Photoshop



Salah satu cara agar foto yang kita publikasikan tidak digunakan orang lain tanpa seijin kita adalah dengan membubuhkan tanda Watermark pada foto tersebut. Banyak aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat Watermark atau "tanda air" ini. Namun, kali ini kita akan membuatnya dengan Photoshop. Selain mudah, kita juga bisa menjadikannya sebagai “master” sehingga tidak perlu membuatnya berulang-ulang. Berikut ini langkah-langkah pembuatannya.
  • Pertamakali siapkan kanvas kerja baru dengan menekan File>New atau tekan Ctrl+N. Isi Width: 800 pixels dan Height: 600 pixels. Color Mode: RGB Color 8 bit. Background Contents: White. Lalu tekan OK.
  • Tekan D untuk mereset warna Foreground dan Background menjadi hitam dan putih.

  • Pilih Horizontal Type Tool di Toolbox. Klik di atas kanvas kerja dan ketiklah sebuah teks misalnya: watermark.com. Setelah itu pilih Move Tool di Toolbox atau tekan V.

  • Di Menu Bar, klik Window>Character untuk memunculkan Palet Character. Buatlah pengaturan sesuai kebutuhan anda. Misalkan, huruf yang digunakan: Arial Rounded MT Bold, ukuran: 100 pt dan warna: abu-abu muda (kode #e6e6e6).

  • Di Palet Layers klik Add a Layer Style dan pilih Drop Shadow.

    • Dalam kotak dialog Drop Shadow buatlah pengaturan untuk Blend Mode: Multiply, Opacity: 45%, Angle: 90 derajat, Distance: 0 px, Spread: 20%,Size: 10 px. Kemudian tekan OK.

    • Klik kotak warna di Palet Character, lalu ganti dengan warna putih.

    • Hasilnya terlihat seperti gambar di bawah ini.

    • Di Palet Layers, klik Layer Background kemudian hapus dengan menekan ikon "tong sampah" (Delete Layer). Saat muncul kotak dialog konfirmasi, tekan Yes.

    • Sekarang kita akan merubah teks "watermark.com" menjadi Brush, sekaligus akan kita jadikan master Watermark. Di Menu Bar,  klikEdit>Define Brush Preset. Dalam kotak dialog Brush Name, isi Name:Watermark. Klik OK.

    • Tutup kanvas kerja dengan menekan Ctrl+W. Saat muncul kotak dialog konfirmasi, tekan Yes jika anda ingin menyimpannya sebagai filedokumen atau No jika anda tidak ingin menyimpannya.

      Pembuatan master Brush Watermark telah selesai. Brush tersebut telah otomatis tersimpan dalam direktori Photoshop sehingga anda tidak perlu lagi membuatnya dari awal. Langkah selanjutnya adalah menempatkan Watermark ke dalam foto.
      • Buka sebuah foto.

      • Buat layer baru dengan menekan Create a New Layer di Palet Layers.

      • Tekan D kemudian X untuk mengatur warna Foreground dan Backgroundmenjadi Putih dan hitam.

      • Pilih Brush Tool di Toolbox. Di Property Bar atur Opacity dan Flow: 100%.

      • Klik kanan Brush Tool tepat di area foto untuk memunculkan kotak dialogBrush. Atur ukuran Size misalkan 500 px atau sesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anda. Geser slider ke bawah dan lakukan double klik padaBrush Watermark yang tadi telah kita buat.

      • Klik Brush Watermark di area foto kemudian tekan V untuk memilihMove Tool. Geser dan atur penempatan Watermark sesuai kebutuhan anda. Tekan Ctrl+T jika ingin mengatur besar-kecilnya ukuranWatermark. Kemudian tekan Ctrl+E untuk menggabungkan Layer 1dengan Layer Background. Hasilnya akan terlihat seperti contoh di bawah ini.
